SINGLES

BECKY HILL – ‘Forever Young

You know Christmas isn’t far away when the adverts start appearing on the telly and sensational popstar Becky Hill has just dropped her magical cover of the classic Alphaville single ‘Forever Young’ for McDonalds in support of FairShare’s campaign to redistribute over 5 million meals by 2021.

Her stripped back version tugs on the heart strings and is a real sentimental tear-jerker, revealing the true power of her amazing voice.

This Christmas, I am celebrating without two very important people in my life & this campaign has reminded me just how precious every Christmas with my nearest & dearest. To be given the chance to support other families in need with FareShare & the amazing work they do, is also an added beautiful moment for me. I feel very lucky, Merry Christmas.

Becky Hill has a huge fanbase, thanks to such incredible Top 40 singles as ‘Space’, ‘Heaven On My Mind’ and ‘Better Off Without You’. Catch her when she kicks off her very own headline summer tour next year!

Becky Hill tickets are currently available.

ALBUMS

THE CRIBS – ‘Night Network

It’s been a bit of a wait for fans of indie rock trio The Cribs, but the brothers are now back with ‘Night Network’ – their first album for three years and it’s a real belter! Combing the sugar sweet songs, the raucous punk tracks and LoFi indie anthems you crave, their eighth LP has all the ingredients to be a classic Cribs album.

Recorded in Dave Grohl’s home studio, the Jarman’s were able to geek out looking at Nirvana and Foo Fighters memorabilia whilst they created a record in secret due to legal wrangling’s over the ownership of their music with former labels.

I think that's why I'm so proud of this record, because it's totally unaffected by it. We wanted it to be a positive record, and really exciting and free-sounding. There was a freedom that we're privileged to do this so we should just embrace it as much as possible.” – Gary Jarman

Check out amazing singles ‘Running Into You’, ‘Never Thought I’d Feel Again’ and album highlight ‘I Don’t Know Who I Am’ which sees them once again reunite with Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo. ‘Night Network’ is out now on CD + Signed Lyric Sheet, Heavyweight Swimming Pool Blue Vinyl and a Bundle containing CD + Signed Lyric Sheet + T-Shirt.

In addition to a few intimate gigs the boys have arranged in support of independent record stores around the UK, The Cribs have announced a major headline show at The Piece Hall in Halifax – plus catch them playing support for The Music making their epic return at Temple Newsam in Leeds.

The Cribs tickets are currently available.
