ALBUMS

LIME CORDIALE – ‘12 Steps To A Better You

Sydney indie-rock siblings Oli and Louis Leimbach are making a name for themselves as Lime Cordiale. Towards the end of 2017, they shot to the fore with the release of the debut album ‘Permanent Vacation’; now the brothers are band with follow up 14 track concept album ‘12 Steps To A Better You’ which NME describes as “more refined, more considered but still inspires excitement at every starry-eyed turn. By reimagining self-help books – with a smirk – they put power in the hands of the listener.”

Lime Cordiale tickets are currently available.

THE STREETS – ‘None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive

It’s fair to say that when Mike Skinner arrived on the scene just after the turn of the millennium with ‘Original Pirate Material’, the sound and style of British hip hop totally transformed. It’s been nearly ten years since we’ve had anything new from The Streets and ‘None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive’ shows that Skinner is as vital as ever as his incredible mixtape takes us into the new decade.

Joining Skinner is a huge roster of A-list collaborators, including Tame Impala, IDLES, Hak Baker, Ms Banks, Donae’O, Kasien and Dapz on the Map as he explores the BREXIT British experience through grime and dubstep.

None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive’ is out now on Limited Edition Blue Heavyweight Vinyl, Heavyweight Vinyl, CD, and a bundle containing the Limited Edition Blue Heavyweight Vinyl & CD.

The Streets tickets are currently available.

THE BETHS – ‘Jump Rope Gazers

Everyone loves a bit of indie pop and it doesn’t come any better than Auckland based band The Beths! Having proven themselves just two years ago with the release of debut album ‘Future Hates Me’, they come back with second album ‘Jump Rope Gazers’ which is a true triumph and one of the most essential records of 2020.

Not resting on their laurels, this time round they’ve pushed the envelope and expanded their sound – and we love the results!

When we finished the first album, it was a matter of having a whole, complete work to point to and attach a sonic identity to. Because of that, it felt like we could stretch out a little bit more.” – Elizabeth Stokes

The Beths will be showing off their new record with shows at Manchester Club Academy and O2 Forum Kentish Town in London

The Beths tickets are currently available.

RUFUS WAINWRIGHT – ‘Unfollow The Rules

It’s been a long time coming, but after eight long years wait acclaimed songwriter Rufus Wainwright is finally back with an incredible new LP ‘Unfollow The Rules’ which sees the Canadian maestro revisit the styles and sounds present on his previous work, but give it a fresh twist.

The best music comes from a place of authenticity and on his ninth album, Wainwright explores themes of married life, fatherhood, relationships, loss and all manner of other experiences that come with middles age. Whilst he may feel like he’s at a crossroad in his life, he makes sense of it by returning to the LA studio where he previously created his debut record 21 years which adds to the poignancy of his latest release.

Rufus Wainwright has just announced an extensive tour in support of his new album during October next year in addition to a couple of dates during June.

Rufus Wainwright tickets are currently available.
