INTRODUCING MGB - Jazz vocalist Debra Milne and guitar maestro Steve Glendinning are long established on the north east jazz scene. Milne Glendinning Band, a trio with Michael Clark on bass, showcases their original songs, with smart lyrics, jazz infused melodic grooves, and folk, soul and rock influences.

The Celia Bryce Band
Joining MGB we are happy to welcome The Celia Bryce Band. Celia, fronting the band, is an award-winning author, playwright & singer-songwriter. The band has 2 formats - full featuring a rocking rhythm section, James on electric guitar and Lee on keyboards as well as great harmonies. In the 4-piece acoustic version Eddie switches from drums to cajon, Colin on bass and acoustic guitar whilst electric guitar & keyboard drop out to be replaced by Mike on fiddle & bass.
Celia’s songs, some co-written with Colin & Tony Schofield have been short-listed for various awards in both country & folk arenas and even ‘Socialist Anthem of the Year”. Her recent album, recorded during Covid features stellar Nashville musicians including Grammy-award winning drummer Lynn Williams, multi-instrumentalist Justin Moses [nominated for Musician of the Year by the AMA], and guitarist extraordinaire Thomm Jutz.
