Event terms & conditions
Great Torrington Cavaliers
Charity Bonfire Show, Saturday 28th August 2027
TERMS, CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The T&Cs of our online ticket seller can be found at www.gigantic.com
1. TICKETS
Tickets can be posted to you, printed at home, or you can keep them as an e-ticket on your phone.
You will need to present your printed or e-ticket at the entry gates to be scanned. All queries on the
sale of tickets will need to be directed to our online ticket seller on 0115 8077 900.
2. SECURITY
By purchasing a ticket from us you accept that we reserve the right to randomly check bags or
other items being taken through the entry gates on to the site – refusing the search may prevent
your entry.
3. REFUNDS
As this event is a major fundraiser for charity, we have a no refund policy. However, our ticket
seller offers protection at a small additional cost.
4. CHILDREN
We will provide all children with wrist bands – a mobile phone number must be written on them to
enable us to call you in the event of a lost child. Lost children will be taken to an area that’s clearly
marked. No announcements will be made over the PA system for lost children.
We understand that you would like your child to see the bonfire and the best way may be by lifting
them on your shoulders – we don’t recommend this but please bring a hat for them to wear
because of possible hot embers flying over the crowd.
Please bear in mind that shortly after the fire is lit it will get very HOT, especially if you are close to
the barriers. Please look after your child for the short duration of the intense burn.
5. DISABLED & ACCESSIBILITY
The bonfire site terrain and access to it is difficult for people with mobility problems. We are
therefore providing a DISABLED PARK & VIEW AREA across the valley next to the golf club,
where you can watch from your vehicle. This area provides an excellent view and there will be
toilets and a PA system linked to the bonfire site. There is a charge of £25 per vehicle (payable on
the gate) but it does not include admission to the main site.
For those coming to the bonfire site with mobility problems, please talk to a steward on the gate
and/or a Cavalier (blue high vis jackets) and we will endeavour to guide you to place which will be
less crowded. We do, however, respectfully request that only one other family member/carer enter
this area as it will have limited capacity. A disabled toilet will be provided in the area.
6. DOGS
This is a bonfire and fireworks event – we therefore have a strict NO DOGS policy. Anyone seen
with a dog on site will be asked to leave.
