‘Or Whatever’ is an enquiry into what can be made in a room with two guitars and three mics.
With support from Nottingham indie folk legends Connexion George, Eleanor McGregor and Lily Clarkson.
SONGWRITING WORKSHOP 1pm - 4pm
We will be holding a songwriting workshop in the afternoon before the gig. The intention of the workshop being to spark creativity through authentic encounter with other songwriters in a supportive group environment.
We might explore: unblocking creativity, contacting inner experience, radical honesty, symbolism, painting with words, etc.
Feel free to bring a song you are working on or a song that you’re proud of. There will be time for sharing, but absolutely no pressure or obligation to do so- it is completely up to you!
With a general focus on 'indie/alt folk' / adjacent genres. For fans of Adrianne Lenker. Open to all!
If you feel stuck creatively or you just want to talk about writing songs with people that share your passion, please do come along- your presence will be be very welcome.
