Exceeded my expectations
Hi,
Sometimes if you have not seen a particular band before live, your expectations are sketchy. Beat reinterpreting part of the King Crimson catalog far exceeded my expectations. The musicianship, respect for the original versions and stellar delivery means that I would recommend this show to any music fan. I had reservations mostly about Steve Vai as I am not sure he has any Crimson heritage being a straight rocker. But, then he was in Zappa's band and anyone that passes to play with him must be able to adapt their game to anything.
