Aynsley Lister returns to The Old Brewery Store for what promises to be one of Faversham's finest live music evenings of 2027.
Few guitarists working in contemporary blues rock can match Lister's combination of raw technical ability and genuine emotional depth. He first picked up a guitar aged eight, schooled himself on his father's Eric Clapton and John Mayall records, and has spent more than three decades since building a body of work that stands entirely on its own terms — earning a place in Classic Rock's 'Top 10 Contemporary Blues Artists' and a reputation as one of Britain's most compelling live performers.
In a room this size, there's nowhere to hide — and Lister doesn't need to. His live show is where the studio recordings come fully alive: the slow-burn tension of Hurricane, the driving swagger of Soundman, the knowing vulnerability of Home. He plays with the precision of someone who has lived inside these songs for years, and the abandon of someone who still means every note.
This will be a standing show.
