Following the ‘Hard Rock Hell’ festival cancellation, we have convinced Canadian heavy-metal veterans ANVIL to point the tour bus in the direction of Bedford Esquires for their first ever visit to the venue on Thurs 5th November.
The Canadian heavy-metal band ANVIL delivered a highly influential 1982 album that would inspire the likes of Anthrax and Metallica and then dropped off the map to begin what would become decades of toiling in obscurity. The critically acclaimed 2009 documentary ‘The Story of Anvil’ opened the band up to a brand new audience worldwide when director and former roadie Sacha Gervasi followed guitarist Steve "Lips" Kudlow and drummer Robb Reiner as they stumble through a harrowing European tour and reflect on failure, friendship, resilience and the will to follow even the most impossible of dreams.
For the AW26 'Pounding the Past' Tour the band will be performing their classic first 3 albums METAL ON METAL | HARD ‘N’ HEAVY | FORGED IN FIRE, plus very special guests KILLER.
